Simone is the youngest daughter of TC and Eve Russell, and sister to Whitney.
Simone always felt that she lived in the shadow of her "perfect" older sister, who also stole her boyfriend (Chad) away from her, who is also her half brother (I know, SICK people aren't they?).

However, Simone got her parents’ attention when she came out of the closet and revealed that – she’s a lesbian! Simone and Kay are best friends; she’s also close friends with Jessica and Paloma.
