Abigail Deveraux daughter to Jack and Jennifer Deveraux was delivered by her father, Jack when her parents were stuck in a cabin. When Abi was a little girl, she suffered from aplastic anemia, but a bone marrow transplant taken from Austin Reed saved her. Jack went on a guilt trip for approving a construction toxic waste dumping that made his daughter ill. This made him leave Salem for a while, but he came back eventually to be with Abigail and her mother.


Abigail left town with her parents, Jack and Jennifer in 1998 only to return to Salem a few years later as a beautiful blonde teenager. She has a boyfriend Josh, a close friend Max Brady and a very devious best friend Chelsea Benson, but despite her bad-ass friend Chelsea, Abigail has a mind of her own. She is an overall good girl that makes her parents proud every day.
