Jack Deveraux was adopted by Anjelica and Harper Deveraux. Jack had done some dastardly things. From raping his wife Kayla, breaking Harper out of jail to get his hands on Harper's Swiss bank account to blackmailing his way into owning half of The Salem Spectator.
Who would think the Jack we see today is the very same Jack, so I guess we can say Jack wasn't exactly the boy next door.


When Jennifer joined the newspaper's staff as a college intern this was a turning point in Jack's life. He had finally found his one true love. Jack and Jennifer were married and had a beautiful baby girl and named her Abigail. Jack was overcome by guilt, believing he was the cause of Abby's aplastic anemia, so he left town, leaving his wife Jennifer to deal with their daughter's illness.


Jack was sentenced to life in prison for "killing" Peter who was alive and in hiding. In the summer, Jack's appeal was denied, but he was later released.


After the Salem stalker supposedly killed Jack, Jennifer and Jack were once again reunited in the jungle, where she gave birth to their son Jack Jr. with the assistance of Patrick Lockhart.

The Salemites worked together to escape. Tony, of course, tried to stop them, but eventually they got off the island, only to be hit by a giant wave. Most of them were rescued by the Coast Guard, Jack was not one of them and was presumed dead.
Jack was still alive but, thanks to Tony DiMera, was again held hostage, this time in a remote European castle. He escaped and made it back to Salem, only to be tricked by a fake Jennifer. Jack was then taken back to the castle. He started digging and ended up in Roman and Marlena's room. Together, they made their escape, bringing Cassie along with them. They made it back to Salem to their loved ones, where Jack found out he was dying and decided to reunite Jennifer and her Ex-boyfriend Frankie to take over his family after his demise.

There was a big mix up at the hospital with Shaun’s sperm and Phillip’s sperm, and now Belle is pregnant with Shaun’s baby and Mimi’s surrogate mother is carrying Phillip’s baby.
Now that Shaun and Belle can’t help but show feelings for each other, and don’t even realize their doing it in front of everyone.

Phillip is upset with his wife Belle (Aren’t we all) for not wanting to terminated the pregnancy because it’s Shaun’s baby.



The paternity shows that Patrick is the father of Hope’s baby, but Bo is crushed when Hope decides to let Patrick be apart of the child’s life.

Jennifer is the daughter of Drs. Bill and Laura Horton and the younger sister of Mike Horton, also a doctor.
Jennifer was placed in the care of grandparents Tom and Alice Horton by her father Bill. Her first husband was Jack Deveraux - at The 'Salem Spectator'. Although there previously had been men in her life, including Frankie Brady and Emilio Ramirez, none stirred her passion like Jack. Theirs was a difficult marriage and ended in divorce. So when suave, smooth-talking Peter Blake promised to take care of her and daughter Abby, Jennifer fell prey to his charms and married Peter (Stefano DiMera's adopted son) on the rebound.

After Peter’s death, Jennifer was eventually reunited with her first husband. Wanting to start a new life, Jack, Jennifer and Abby left Salem for Africa.


Jack and Jennifer were remarried in a beautiful ceremony that included their daughter Abby and was broadcast live on their talk show, 'In the House'. They returned to their honeymoon to continue working on the show for a bit, but Jack was dissatisfied. He wanted to return to his roots as an investigative reporter and unfortunately, this led to his murder by the Salem Stalker. Jennifer had to make the heart-wrenching decision to take Jack off life support, only to have Abby then blame her for his death. Shortly thereafter, Jennifer found out she was pregnant and considered this a last gift from Jack. Unfortunately, the pregnancy was a dangerous one; the baby's life, as well as Jennifer's, was in danger.
Jennifer went into labor and delivered a healthy baby boy, with the help of Patrick Lockhart, in a cave. Then, she nearly died; Tony DiMera saved her life through his knowledge of the local plants.

She was finally brought back to "New Salem," and eventually Jack was found and the two reunited and bonded with their baby son. Now they're back in the real Salem and Jack found out he’s dying so decided to reunite Frankie and Jennifer.


Why Jack would want another man in his bed after he died I don't know!!

Sami is on to Mimi and feels she is working along with Kate to keep Belle and Shaun apart. Sami promised Mimi that whatever the secret may be, she’s going to find out.


Jack is still hospitalized, but this time he is willing to fight for his life and return back home to his beloved wife and kids, despite the fact that Jennifer might already be in love with Frankie.


The whole Alex and Marlena episode is finally over. After the struggle between John Black and Alex North, both men were found dangling from a cliff. John offered Alex his hand in order to help him up, but Alex refused and left John with these very words

I’ll see you in hell

as he let go of the cliff and plunged to his bloody death.


Bo sets off to Morgan Island in search of his wife Hope; his mean reason is to get her as far away from Patrick as possible, but only to find her being kissed by Lockhart.


Abby is not very happy about Jennifer and Frankie’s engagement, meanwhile Chelsea has her own mother to deal with. She blames Billie for letting Bo go to Morgan Island in order to save Hope and bring her back to Salem.
